Austin and I joined Cady's preschool class at school on Monday for the annual Friendship party. The kids were all dressed in the indian outfits that they had been working on at school. They ate a big feast, Charlie Brown style!! We had sandwiches to go along with our popcorn, M&Ms, chex and preztels. Some of the kids tried the pumpkin pie... mine just ate the cool whip that was on top! We made indian necklaces and drums and really cute turkeys. Then we sang lots of songs and played some games too. It was really really fun!!!
I thought maybe you would all like a little translation... so you can all sing along!!
"One little, two little, three little turkeys. Gobbly, wobbly, bobbly turkeys. Hurry, scurry, worry turkeys. It's thanksgiving day!"
"Five fat turkeys are we. We slept all night in a tree. When the cook came around, we couldn't be found. And that's why we're here you see!"
"I'm a little indian on the go! Here is my arrow. Here is my bow. When i go a-hunting hear me shout, 'Bears and buffalo better watch out!'"

"Turkey's tail is big and wide. He swings it when he walks. His neck is long. His chin is red. He gobbles when he walks. Turkey is so tall and fat. He dances on his feet. And on each Thanksgiving day, he's something good to eat"
