We joined Cady's classmates and teachers at the Indianapolis Zoo. It was a beautiful day!! The kids loved being outside and Cady loved seeing all of her friends around the zoo.

Austin loved the fish!!
Cady's favorite part of the day, as she puts it, was watching the rhino poop. Yes, we were standing there, watching the rhinos, when one pooped... several hundred pounds!!
Feeding the giraffes was a great adventure! After giving the pieces of sweet potatoes to the kids, the zookeeper was giving me my change. I had my head turned for about 15 seconds only to find the sweet potato in Austin's mouth!!! Gross Bubby! He thought so too... as he pulled it out of his mouth.
We were looking at the elephants and watching them drink from the pond. Austin was so excited!! "El, El!!" He called.

Austin found a turtle in the desert!! "Geeeen tut-tut"
Cady and Maya at the dolphin show. They sat in the splash zone and got wet!
Austin couldn't really see the dolphins very well but he cackled everytime the crowd cheered.
We rode the carousel at the end of the day... twice! The old man running the carousel loved my kids!!! But who doesn't??!!
